Our Horse Badge program is priced at $115 per participating Girl Scout and is a comprehensive two-hour experience. During the first hour, participants enjoy a guided trail ride on horseback. The second hour focuses on horsemanship education, including horse grooming, an introduction to breeds and coat colors, and an overview of various riding styles.

For accompanying parents or adults who wish to ride, the cost is $90 per rider. Each trail ride is led by two experienced guides to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The maximum number of riders per trail group is 6; however, we can accommodate additional participants for the educational (groundwork) portion of the program.  If your troop has more than 6 participants, we'll divide everyone into smaller groups for the trail rides. While one group is out on the trail, the other group will participate in the ground-based portion of the program. Once the first group returns, the groups will switch so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy both activities.

 

Please note that, in accordance with our insurance policy, all riders must be at least 8 years of age.

 

To ensure availability, we recommend booking at least 3 - 4 weeks in advance for large groups. We accept credit card payments, and once your reservation is scheduled, an invoice will be provided.
