TRAIL RIDES

Imagine this – You’re breathing clean, fresh air.  You’re feeling the warm southern California sunshine.  The wild birds are singing and the rhythmic squeak of your trail horse’s saddle is relaxing your tense shoulders.  You’re seeing acres of some of the most breathtaking protected land in the area.  Let us guide you, on horseback,  through historic groves of massive Coast Live Oaks and California Sycamores, while encountering hawks, quail, peacocks, vultures, deer, bobcats, and other native wildlife along the way.  We would love to share both, our amazing horses and our beloved park with you!

Here at Country Trails, we are happy to accommodate your special event in any way that we can. Our scenic trail rides are a fabulous way to celebrate birthdays, graduations, family reunions, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and more! Many find horseback riding a romantic date idea, or simply a great way to unwind from the stresses of the week.  We frequently host vacationers from all around the globe who seek an alternative California experience, away from the crowded theme parks and busy beaches. Birdwatchers, wildlife enthusiasts, or simply folks with an affinity for the outdoors all can appreciate the natural beauty of our trails.

We are one of the few equestrian facilities in Orange County to offer guided trail rides, and at $80 per rider for a one-hour ride, and $180 for a two hour, we are competitively priced. Country Trails takes you on a one-of-a-kind experience, inside a breathtaking Regional Park, something no other local stable can offer! While inside Irvine Regional Park, you’re only a few steps away from the Orange County Zoo, paddle boat and bicycle rentals, pony rides, train rides, hiking and biking trails, barbecue pits, snack bars, and more!  *Please note: Riders must be 8 years of age or older to ride, under 200 lbs., and not pregnant.

We can email our Rider Release Forms to you, so you can fill them out at home to bring with you, or you may complete them at our barn before your ride. Either way, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your ride time to check in. Thank you!
